To coincide with the Record Store Day 2026 release of Hérésie, we’re also – independently from RSD – releasing a newly expanded CD edition. It restores the original album in remastered form and adds a rare live recording from the Rex Club, Paris.
The CD comes with a 16-page booklet, new sleeve notes by Jon Wood, and presents this long hard-to-find title in its most complete form yet.
Originally released in 1982, Hérésie captures Virgin Prunes at their most raw and confrontational: blending post-punk, industrial, and performance art into a dark, uncompromising sound.
